Copy Hard Drive

1. Install new drive as slave.

2. Autodetect hard drive in BIOS.

3. Boot with F8 key and start with command prompt only.

4. C:\>FDISK (Y for 32 bit)
a. 5 change current drive

b. 2

c. esc

d. 4 display partition and be sure no partition exhists esc

e. 1 create new partition Y for use all available space

f. esc esc reboot

5. In windows 95 or 98 double click my computer.

6. Right click the new drive and click format.

7. run scandisk thorough.

8. START - RUN - Command

9. xcopy c:\*.* d:\ /c /h /e /k /r

10. resetup drives making new drive as master of first IDE controller.

11. reautodetect in BIOS.

12 Boot with VMBD and run fdisk.

a. set active partition 2

b. esc reboot
